“Se magnifique”

From the weekend pool parties at this luxurious downtown hotel to the largely gay concierge team who accommodated all our requests—from recommending the best breakfast spot to calling a local tuxedo shop to stay open late so we could get the right cummerbund and bow ties for our cruise—our stay at Se was absolutely wonderful. You enter through a massive rough-hewn wooden and metal door, perfectly balanced for easy opening, that is as large as a movie screen. The lobby inside is unlike any other, featuring an eclectic combination of materials and textures that make you forget your worries, blending old-world charm with contemporary flair. The rooms are designed for comfort and style, with enough space to entertain friends you meet by the pool or locals stopping by for a meal at one of the nearby restaurants or the hotel's own eatery, which offers a twist on classic American bistro cuisine with bold flavors at reasonable prices.
