“Very disappointing”
The only thing we enjoyed was the location. We received no housekeeping during our entire four-night stay. The housekeeper, who didn't seem to speak the same language, spent a couple of hours there each day but never offered fresh towels or more coffee. She cleaned other rooms but never entered ours. We were directed to a closet near the back stairs for supplies, where we got toilet paper (no extras in the room), towels, and coffee. WiFi worked okay by the pool but didn't reach our building. There was no ice machine, so we couldn't chill our beer or make cocktails. The mini fridge was stocked with overpriced items they wanted $3 each for, so that was useless too. The grounds were poorly maintained, with fans scattered around creating obstacles and making it hard to navigate the maze-like layout. The steps were rotting and uneven, posing a tripping hazard. We're not high-maintenance, but even the cheapest places offer better service. For the $200 per night we paid, we expected much more. With so many other options, we'll go elsewhere next time.
