If you want a private, classy place to stay while exploring the Big Island, this is it. The location is ideal for seeing the whole island, with beautiful landscaping hidden from the road. Each bungalow feels like another world. The owners really understand good service and serve an amazing breakfast that can be ready whenever you want in the morning. Scott can give you advice on where to go and has photos of nearly every spot on the island. After a hike, you can relax in the central hot tub, and the grounds are fully clothing optional. They will even pack you a lunch for a hike. Watching Scott walk the cat on a leash outside is adorable. The place is spotless, as clean as my mother kept our home. There are no hidden fees like cleaning, parking, or WiFi, unlike other B&Bs on the island. I highly recommend this hidden gem; you won't be disappointed.

“Volcano Men's Retreat - Jewel of the Big Island”

This is the best gay-friendly bed and breakfast on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is close to Volcanoes National Park and has beautiful, new, upscale private bungalows. The compound is secluded, secure, and safe. The gourmet breakfast is wonderful, and the staff are attentive and friendly.
