About

Original Art Deco details survive in this Lakeview boutique hotel the small rooms make up for them. The staff is friendly and the place is kept very clean.

From the Belmont L stop you are steps away from Boystown. If you are a 100% top you might never need to leave the hotel just watch your phone explode with Grindr messages. A great breakfast is next door at Ann Sathers.

My experience was quite different - the location is good, but the room was extremely tiny with a view of the nearby station, so every few minutes there was train noise and bells, which was overwhelming. The room also cost much more than what was listed, so I felt completely ripped off (and not in a fun way). The number of ads for this hotel that show up on a certain app will make you laugh when you're actually staying there, and if you're exclusively a top, you can just stay in the hotel and watch your phone blow up.

“so much original charm”

Okay, the rooms are a bit small, but they compensate with wonderful original architectural features and excellent service. This is always my top pick. It's handy to the gay neighborhood and the nearby transit stop. I really adore this hotel and am staying here currently.

“Right in the middle of it all!”

Excellent spot near the elevated train and the gay area. You can walk to everything. It's clean and modern.

“Small But cute & location a plus”

The rooms are definitely small but they were very well cleaned. It's near the train and across from both a restaurant and a club. The gay area was just a block away. I would come back.

“Always my first choice”

The location near the main street and the metro is fantastic. It's also next to a great breakfast place. It's an old historic hotel, so you need to be in the right mindset. It's not a luxury chain, but it's well-maintained, very clean, and the staff is nice.
