“REALLY liked the Dana. Will definitely stay here again.”
I really enjoyed the Dana Hotel and Spa. The rate I got through hotels.com for the nights I needed for a Chicago conference fit within my per diem, so I booked it. Loved it from the moment I got out of the cab from O'Hare. The staff was attractive and very stylish, with exceptional and friendly service from the curb to the front desk. I loved the grand staircase and the vault-like elevator from street level to the lobby. The guest room had a major wow factor with risqué but dramatic wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was spacious with a sleek bathroom and a decadent shower that ranks high on my favorite hotel showers list. Not enough closet space for a week's worth of suits, but I made it work. The bedroom was sweeping with stunning floors, minimal but elegant decor, a comfortable bed, and a spacious desk with functional, movable furnishings. The fitness and spa services were very impressive, and the in-room dining was sumptuous. Great location, just minutes from the Gold Coast, the Loop, Michigan Avenue, the Riverwalk, the Theatre District, Millennium Park, and Lake Michigan beaches. I really liked the Dana and will definitely stay here again.

“Serene and Relaxing”
The Dana is a small boutique hotel with modern decor. The rooms are nicely furnished, and the staff is friendly. It's conveniently located downtown, only two blocks from the Red Line and two blocks from Michigan Avenue. There's also a rooftop bar that gets lively at night. The crowd is mostly straight but gay-friendly. Overall, it's a relaxing spot for a Chicago visit.

“"A bed in the clouds"”
I just stayed at the Dana with my boyfriend for a couple of nights. The hotel was stunning, the service immaculate, and the room was great. My boyfriend told them it was a romantic getaway for us, and they upgraded us to a corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a see-through shower (which was hot), and a very comfortable bed. There were a few minor issues with the phone and closet door, but they came immediately and fixed everything. There's a fantastic first-floor restaurant and a hot rooftop club, plus all the spa amenities. Loved it.
