You really can't go wrong at a Kimpton hotel. I stayed for 10 days and felt completely at home. The rooms were excellent; mine had a nearly king-sized day bed by the window with fantastic views of the Chicago River and the new Trump Tower. I slept in that window bed almost every night. The staff were fun, friendly, and enjoyable. Each evening I found little surprises in my room—not a hot stripper, but my favorite green tea, a bottle of cabernet, fruit—it was wonderful. The manager's reception with complimentary wine every evening was nice and a great way to meet other travelers. The location is unbeatable and rates are affordable. I will definitely return.
