I've stayed at many hotels for work, and this is definitely among the very best. The hotel is spotless, with elegant decor and outstanding service from a staff that goes above and beyond. The front desk team was friendly and efficient, helping with directions and local recommendations, and even found me a room when I arrived before check-in time. My room was excellent—clean, well-kept, with a very comfortable bed, large flatscreen TV, safe, minibar, good AC, nice bathroom with quality toiletries, and a snack basket for purchase. The pool and fitness room were clean and had a decent selection of cardio, weights, and resistance equipment. There are beautiful ballrooms for events, plus a coffee shop, lobby bar, restaurant, and a martini cigar bar. The location is perfect, close to Circle Centre Mall, restaurants, bars, the convention center, Lucas Oil Field, and other spots, with enclosed walkways connecting hotels to the mall so you rarely need to go outside, which was great in the rain. In the lobby near the elevators, there are two urns of water—one with cucumber slices, the other with lemon and lime—with cups available for anyone. I honestly feel like I could live here. Also, join their free Select Guest rewards club before checking in to get complimentary in-room WiFi, pressing, shoe shine, morning beverage delivery, and bottled water on arrival.

“Paying for the location?”

The old design of the Omni gives it character, but it also leads to small bathrooms and somewhat cramped rooms. The tub and shower looked worn, and even though it's an older style, new fixtures could make things look cleaner. Staff were pleasant, and check-in and check-out were easy and quick. I'd stay again if the price is right; otherwise, I might choose a more updated hotel.
