“Awful Experience”

During my stay at the Sheraton in Omaha, someone cut the lock on my Uhaul trailer, which held all my belongings, and ransacked it. The hotel lacks security cameras, and the general manager has not returned my calls. They offered me 10,000 reward points, which are only enough for one night at some locations but not others. After leaving a second unanswered voicemail, I got an email from the general manager. I don't know who this Tanner person is, and I noticed the email described the theft of over $3000 of my property and the police involvement as an 'inconvenience.' The email said I had been working with Tanner, that they aren't responsible for theft in their lot as posted, that Tanner offered 10,000 SPG points for the inconvenience, and that they consider this a sufficient goodwill gesture, noting this isn't typical for their hotel and hoping I enjoy a future stay.

“Not bad, but I've certainly stayed in better Starwood properties”

The property was clean and the recent renovation looked nice, but it still feels like a 1960s highway motel. For the same brand, I'd rather stay at the newer Westin Element a few miles east on the same road.

“Great SPG Property”

Excellent hotel, recently renovated, and close to everything in Omaha! The staff were wonderful and incredibly kind.
