Andalucia Guest House

About

Open daily from 9am to 8pm, Andalucia Guest House works well as a quiet daytime base or a place to unwind early before heading out for the evening. It's gay-owned but not exclusively gay, so you get an inclusive, respectful vibe from the start. The guest house is converted from a neo-colonial apartment building; original character was kept and enhanced with Andalusian tile-work. It's just a two-minute walk from the beach in Ocean Park, a more laid-back alternative to the Condado hustle.

Reviews consistently mention the relaxing atmosphere and walking distance to the water. The owner has a family history museum in San German if you're traveling that way. Established in 2005, this place keeps things simple and authentic. If you're exploring further, the Numero Uno Beach Hotel & Restaurant is nearby for another casual stop by the water.

Features

  • Owner's family history museum in San German

“An adorable relaxing experience”

Very relaxed atmosphere, within walking distance of the water. If you want a genuine Puerto Rico experience without the chaos of Condado, Andalucia is a great option. For more details on gay San Juan, check out http://thenakedisland.com

“great place for relaxing”

We looked for a quiet, relaxing home-like place that wasn't too pricey. We found that and more at Andalucia Guest House. It's gay-owned but not exclusively for gays. I can say they treat you with respect and keep things clean.
