“not a gay place”

I don't understand why this place is recommended for gay travelers. During my recent stay, I didn't see many other gay guests. The rooms smelled musty and the property really needs a thorough cleaning. It's definitely not worth the high price, especially during peak season.

“A classy, beautiful Inn”

Wind Chimes is one of the few guesthouses that has a pool. It's just a short walk from the most beautiful beaches in San Juan, right next to Ocean Park. For more details about gay San Juan, check out http://thenakedisland.com

“A great place to decompress”

A nice small hotel where you can relax and unwind. It's very peaceful, and the staff stays out of sight unless needed. Strongly suggest booking a room here or at the nearby sister hotel about half a block away, which is even quieter. Be sure to visit the small bar in the back at Wind Chimes and definitely try the restaurant at the other property.

“Nice Boutique Hotel”

A friend and I stayed here and found it ideal for what we wanted. The price was reasonable and it's near the beach. It's not fancy, but it's clean with friendly staff. Plus, why spend time in the room when the ocean is just a block away? There was a mini-fridge and microwave, so we bought snacks and drinks at the local grocery store. It was only a 15-minute walk to the gay beach and clubs.

“Nothing Gay about this place”

Wind Chimes Inn is just okay; it could use a more 'gay-friendly' ambiance. The grounds need tidying up. We got nice fluffy towels the first day, but thin ones for the rest of the week. I wouldn't stay here again since it's a bit far from most attractions.
