The restaurant operates on a split schedule: lunch and dinner with a break in between. Weekend brunch runs from 10:30am to 2pm, and dinner service extends until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I liked everything about this place, from the food to the service.

“One of Chicago's best”
This spot is near downtown but still a hidden treasure. I've dined on both sides of the restaurant and liked each. Topolobampo offers a high-end experience you won't forget. I've only eaten there once, but the chef is credited with elevating upscale Mexican cuisine to the masses in the city. The best part is that on many evenings, you actually see him working there.

“Yum and Yum!!!”
My partner and I visit from a town in Michigan every so often. When we're in the city, we eat at this chef's Frontera Grill on Clark Street. There are two restaurants: Frontera Grill is more affordable and tasty, while Topolobampo is pricier. The food is amazing. Sometimes the chef himself talks with diners. What a delight!
