Bar: Full bar

Open for dinner and Sunday brunch, The Mews Restaurant & Cafe is a waterfront bistro with views of Provincetown Harbor. It houses New England's largest vodka collection — over 270 varieties — and is known for its refined menu and attentive service. Originally a stable where horses towed oyster carts, it has been a fine-dining staple since 1964. Owner Ron Robin, a Boston and Cape Cod radio personality, has been at the helm since 1983.

The upstairs dining room offers the best seaside views, making it a favorite for special occasions like anniversaries. Reservations are recommended. If you're looking for a more casual meal nearby, The Canteen is a popular spot for fried seafood and sandwiches.

“Great Dinner!”

Great restaurant right on the ocean. Our waitress was fantastic and really fun. The food was delicious. We would definitely come back next time we visit.

“We agree ... always wonderful!”

My partner and I always pick The Mews for a special night out in P-town. This year it was our 13th anniversary. We've never had anything there that wasn't excellent. Our favorite starter is the avocado and crab appetizer, which isn't always listed but pops up as a frequent special.

“A Romantic Date”

One of the best menus in town for a special occasion. It has a seaside view, and I prefer sitting upstairs. Last summer, I recall we began the meal with a superb mango martini, followed by figs stuffed with gorgonzola and walnuts wrapped in prosciutto. So tasty!

“Always wonderful !”

We've eaten here three times, and each time it was a top-notch dining experience. The atmosphere, food, service, and presentation were consistently far above average. There are too many average restaurants in P-town, so definitely come here to enjoy your meal.
