“Great food, beer, & sports”
I've visited this place twice during my week in the city. It's conveniently located within walking distance from the downtown area. The staff is welcoming, though service can be a bit slow at times. One waitress recommended a beer to me, and even though I'm not much of a beer drinker, I really enjoyed it. The food quality was consistently high. My only letdown was the queso dip. I realize this is the Midwest, but my experience at another restaurant was outstanding and showed that locals can handle heat in their dishes. Overall, 8th Street Grill is an excellent spot and I plan to return.
