“not indie”
In the last few years, a Canadian company bought this place. The vibe is much better than what you'd find at Starbucks. Their coffee doesn't have that burnt flavor like Starbucks, but it's not really outstanding either.

Locals are huge fans of Spot Coffee, and preferring a different chain over it is almost disrespectful. However, I don't see the appeal. It's decent but nothing worth raving about.
