Enjoyable, contemporary Latin American dining experience. Distrito is a hidden treasure in University City, worth the quick trek across the river or a short walk from West Philly. The service is flawless; every employee, from hostess to bus staff, knew the menu, drinks, and available tequila varieties. I'm a tequila enthusiast, as is my father-in-law, and this place has every type, including regional tasting flights. The food and atmosphere were incredibly fun! My out-of-state in-laws still talk about it three months later and considered driving six hours just to celebrate New Year's Eve at Distrito. In short, I strongly recommend this restaurant! Come with an upbeat mindset, an open palate, and an empty stomach, and you'll have a great time.

The restaurant was far too loud. The food wasn't anything remarkable. It wasn't worth the journey.
