Cody and I enjoy Margot Cafe as an East Nashville favorite when we want a local dinner that feels casual yet sophisticated. It's conveniently located in the 5 Points area of East Nashville. The menu changes often, with the chef rotating specials that are elegantly simple and always savory. Specials can range from rabbit to scallops to vegetarian dishes. Average entrees cost about $16 to $24; I think you'll agree it's a great value for quality food. They have a full bar and a fairly extensive wine list, starting around $30 and going up to $200 (but don't let that scare you—there are many reasonably priced options).
