“Almost Nothing Like It”
Where else can you snack on goat, grasshoppers, and rabbit along with a fantastic margarita? The menu is exciting and adventurous, and the service is excellent. The food is always incredibly well-prepared, delicious, and perfectly portioned. After taking over a failing plumbing shop years ago, Hugo's brings top-tier Mexican cuisine to this area, and I've never had anything close to its quality for Mexican food in this city. It's like exploring a cookbook of complex, fascinating dishes that you wouldn't dare attempt at home. The Mexican coffee is a great finish, with amazing depth of flavor. My only complaint is that with the tin ceiling, it can get extraordinarily noisy when people are really enjoying their meals.

“no very gay but great food”
The Sunday buffet looked amazing and costs $27. I mostly saw families dining, and it's very upscale. I'm from out of town; the food has a Mexican flair, everything is well presented and excellent. Valet parking is available. It's not a brunch party with a bunch of loud gay people.
