“Excellent Food and Service”
We were in the Webster area near Clear Lake and NASA over the weekend, and someone recommended Lupe's Tortillas to us. There was about a 30-minute wait when we arrived. In my view, the wait was definitely worth it. The waiter provided attentive service, and the food was excellent and authentic. It might be a bit on the expensive side, but I'm not complaining. Their homemade tortillas are incredible.

“Crowded, lots of toddlers, still worth a visit.”
Avoid going on a weekend night, and try to arrive before 6:00 p.m. if possible, or go later in the evening. There's a playground out front, so the place is very popular with young families. If you come during rush hour, waits of 45 minutes are common. Don't expect much in terms of decor either; it's the typical cheap and cheesy Mexican kitsch. But that's easy to overlook once you taste the food and the margaritas. This is classic Tex-Mex done very well, and the margaritas are perfect. Vegetarians will love the Portobello Tacos al Carbon; they're delicious.
