About
The Grove is open Monday through Friday 10am–7pm and Saturday 11am–8pm, making it easy to fit into a midday or early evening outing. This outdoor shopping complex feels more like a downtown street than an enclosed mall, letting you walk between stores without always being inside. You'll find Apple, Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Nordstrom alongside options for gay-themed gifts and accessories.
The centerpiece courtyard features a choreographed water fountain show, and in winter there's artificial snowfall. A Sprinkles Cupcake is on site for a quick treat, and the Original Farmers Market sits right across the street with plenty of food. The movie theater now offers online reserved seating. It can get packed around the holidays, but the lively atmosphere is part of the draw.

“Great Place”
Plenty of nice shops to browse, plus a Sprinkles Cupcake for a tasty treat. You can enjoy the water show in the central courtyard. Across the street is the Farmer's Market, which offers a lot of great food options and a coffee chain for those who need their caffeine fix.

“Best outdoor mall”
I'm a fan of The Grove. The movie theater offers online reserved seating now, the restaurants are good, and it feels like more than just a typical mall trip. The water fountain show is fun, and they have snow in the winter. It can be too busy around the holidays though.

Come early in the morning and leave by 1pm to avoid the crowds.

“what's with the trolley?”
It's always packed, but I'm okay dealing with the crowds for the shoe section at the department store.

“Great shopping , pretty nice theaters too”
It's impressive how the city supports several large shopping centers close together. What sets this place apart is that it's open-air—you walk from store to store outside, which feels more like a downtown area. It looks especially nice around the winter holidays. Worth stopping by whether you're visiting or live in the area.
