“Unique for Denver”

A friend on Instagram suggested I check out Needz for a specific calendar he made. I had never been before, so I went. The store is on a gay-friendly block with a long history of gay businesses, has hours that work for everyone, and feels like something from New York or California. Some Yelp reviews incorrectly say they carry 2xist, a brand I hoped to find. I didn't find what I was after, but I discovered unexpected items like a small selection of leather gear, penis pleasure products, and swimwear. It's mostly a men's underwear boutique (sexy men, sexy underwear), though I wouldn't call it just an underwear store. It improves Denver by offering high-end underwear and exclusive collections not available elsewhere in the city. The staff at the counter are extremely helpful and friendly, and you could chat with them all day. You can't help but miss this kind of service and store selection since places like The Crypt, Heaven Scent Me, Unique of Denver, Cluttered Closet, and Card Blanche are gone. That feeling alone makes me want Needz to succeed. I only bought one pair of underwear from local designer Yocisco, but like the store, the underwear is unique. The brief has room for your basket, an interesting color scheme, and fits as if tailored to me. I will return and appreciate that Needz is what Denver needs.

“Similar to Skivvies in Dallas”

It's not as big as Skivvies, but carries similar items, like Go Softwear, tank tops, jocks, and T-shirts. I bought a black singlet and the guy at the counter was really encouraging, saying it looked good on me. I love places where you can try on underwear and walk around the store. Very sexy. Pretty good selection of popular styles for a small store.

“Great selection of undergear!”

Many people in Denver go to the Crypt, a few blocks away, for their underwear needs, but I prefer Needz. This is a fairly small boutique with a great selection of underwear and swimsuits. The staff are very friendly, and the store definitely caters to a gay clientele.
