Great for an afternoon stroll

In winter you can ice skate here, and in summer the fountain takes center stage. The National Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC's Capitol Hill neighborhood offers a rotating collection of outdoor sculpture. A huge Alexander Calder piece sits near the corner of Constitution and 14th. It's a relaxing spot for a walk with friends.

“Wonderful garden that is often overlooked.”
This spot is incredible! During winter there's ice skating, and in summer there's a lovely fountain. There's a nice selection of sculpture art to see, it's very calming and definitely worth visiting. Also, make sure to check out the Alexander Calder piece at the corner of Constitution and 14th—it's enormous, dark, and quite intricate. I overlooked it my first visit, but stumbled upon it by chance the second time.
