About
Most visitors to Pearl Harbor focus on the Arizona Memorial, but the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum offers a closer look at WWII submarine warfare. A self-guided tour of the moored sub shows crew quarters, engines, and torpedo rooms. Outdoors, the waterfront memorial lists 52 submarines and 3,500 lost submariners. The museum also displays a Kaiten torpedo and a 40 mm Quad gun among other artifacts.

“Interesting Submarine Tour and Memorial”
The USS Bowfin submarine is docked next to the USS Arizona Memorial visitor center. For a small fee, you can explore the sub on a self-guided tour and see the cramped sleeping quarters of the crew. Outside, there is a waterfront memorial honoring the 52 submarines and 3,500 submariners lost during World War II.
