Rio Grande Botanic Garden

Arts & Culture · Albuquerque, NM

About

This garden is just one part of the larger Albuquerque Biological Park, which also includes an aquarium, a zoo, and Tingley Beach. You'll find bug houses, biospheres, a working farm, and a large model railroad on site. One reviewer noted there's "a little bit of something for everyone." It's great for a day out with queer friends or family, and the Winter Lights Festival is a seasonal highlight.

“One of the Best in the Country”

The Bio Park is a section of the Albuquerque Biological Park. There's something for everyone—indoor and outdoor spaces, things for adults and kids. Features include bug houses, Biospheres, a working farm, and a large model railroad in the garden. Parking is ample, and it's adjacent to the Aquarium and near Tingley Beach and the Zoo. They also have a big Winter Lights Festival. I can't think of any downsides.
