About

Fake plumeria leis drape the ceiling while gogo dancers work the plinths. The Frat House is Garden Grove's only gay bar, with a dance floor on the right and a long bar on the left.

The vibe is low-key, even on a Saturday night. Your $10 cover gets you in, and drinks like a rum and coke run about $11. Happy hour and drag shows pop up on the calendar.

I visited The Frat House in Garden Grove on July 27, 2024. The layout features a long bar on the left and a dance floor on the right as you enter, with barstools and tables around the dance floor. There are two platforms for go-go dancers and four video screens, and the ceiling is decorated with fake plumeria leis. I paid a $10 cover charge and $11 for a rum and coke. The female bartender was very friendly. It wasn't very crowded, and there were only two go-go dancers, but they had good muscle definition. Despite not feeling very frat-like except for the dancers, I would definitely return.
