San Diego Eagle

About
Leather and denim set the tone here. This is San Diego's Eagle, a dive bar where boots get polished at the stand and back-pocket hankies signal what you're into.
The crowd skews 30s to 50s with plenty of regulars. Nights get busiest Thursday through Saturday. It's cash friendly, full bar, and free wifi if you need it.

I'm thinking about relocating to San Diego and want to get into male stripping or modeling. If anyone can assist, reach me at 719 357 2377.

Leather and fetish folks should go in here, but no women. Check which fetish night is happening, or you might be sorry you came. Ask people outside before going in!

“Every city has one”
Similar to Eagle bars in other cities (RIP to the original San Francisco location), this is a straightforward, no-frills, back-room type bar where guys come to drink and cruise. They might start by relaxing, but could be open to more. Back when the bar called Shooter's was nearby (now a straight sports bar named True North) and Wolf's was down the street, the Eagle competed for the gay North Park crowd, which it now mostly shares with Redwing. However, most of the Levi/leather/beer bust crowd still goes to The Hole and Pecs more than any North Park spot.

“Great Bar”
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Eagle during a recent trip to San Diego. The patrons were super welcoming and not cliquey like some bars in the Hillcrest neighborhood. The bartenders were great and served strong drinks. The guys were attractive and eager to please!

“Easy sex, friendly folks - very local”
If you came here every day for half a year, you'd see that about 90% of the patrons are regulars. There are some attractive guys and a few who enjoy sex and make for good one-night stands every six months. Overall it's a decent spot to chat with neighbors and hang out, but later in the night it gets really warm inside the bar. Not my thing but some love it. Solid little dive bar. Just stay alert since it's a bit unconventional.
