“This is the place to go for sex!(and cheap beer)”
I'm 29 and travel for work around the country. At older bars, people always say I should have been there in the 70s and 80s, but at Hank's nothing has changed, including the decor. It's the most fun bar I've ever been to. Outside, a sign says it's a gay bar and if homosexuality offends you, drink elsewhere. They only serve beer and maybe wine, but everyone is friendly, very friendly. There are two bathrooms: one for group sex and a private one for actual use. The patio is large with many hidden spots for fun. I never left unhappy. I was nervous because some reviews said it was all older men, and it's 98% older, but each time I went there were at least 10 guys in their 20s and 30s, including me, and occasionally someone really attractive. Great anything-goes bar! Loved it.

“It is what it is”
Hank's is straightforward and unpretentious. You buy a beer and must drink at least one, and unless you're a regular chatting with bartenders and regulars inside, you go to the outdoor patio to watch the activity or join in if you're feeling adventurous or have had a few drinks. The usual crowd is there along with tourists and other non-locals. When I'm feeling selective or somewhat shy, I just have a beer and leave. Everything is visible and that's usually fine with me. The more you drink the more enjoyable it gets, but the police, who never enter Hank's, are watching for drunk drivers, so be careful.

Great patio. Friendly people. All ages present. Awesome music, cute bartenders, don't bring your mom, easy parking, fun crowd.

Never felt threatened here. Good atmosphere and good people. The place could use a bit of renovation.
