From the community

“Awa, beer, wine, fruit smothies, local men, lava!”

The busiest spot on the Big Island! Wednesday night market with hot food vendors, live music, dancing, and people-watching. They serve awa (a muscle-relaxing drink made from awe root), beer, wine, and amazing fruit smoothies. On Fridays, the live band is also great. The whole community comes out! It's a short walk from the Gay Hawaii B&B Guest House, though parking can be tricky. A fantastic spot to meet local gay men and watch the surfers. You can even book a lava tour from very attractive local guys right on site.
