“Nice bar”
If you want to dance and be around lots of people, this is the spot. It gets nicely packed after 11 on weekends. If you're looking to get bent over the bar, go somewhere else in the city. It's not upscale, though drinks cost more than typical gay dive bars. I've always had fun with friends. No drama, just a nice place to dance and hang out.

“I guess I'm too Square...”
I had high hopes for Square. I wanted to like it and enjoy a Saturday night dancing. We arrived around 9:30pm and stayed about an hour and a half. The DJ hadn't started spinning yet, so we left. Drinks were reasonable; I paid $6 for two beers, which isn't bad for a club. But the crowd was a bit strange. There were a few older gay men, some gay folks in their 20s, and many women dressed from gowns to sweatpants. I felt uncomfortable walking around Highland Square holding hands with my partner.

“Nice, but expensive and pretentious”
This is likely the nicest bar in the city. I've only been a couple times, but each time I spent about twice as much for the same number of drinks as other bars. The staff and clientele can be rude and pretentious. I wouldn't waste my time here unless you have money to burn and are a snob yourself. Pinky up!
