“Always a good time on Mondays”

Monday nights at The Interbelt are always fun. Inside the spacious club you can dance a lot, or you can relax and chat normally on the large tiki bar and back patio. The staff are friendly, professional, and welcoming. Security is professional, attentive, heavily armed, and quickly deals with any issues. The parking lot and nearby streets are mostly dark and sketchy, so it's best to go with a big group or carry a gun, or both—though guns aren't allowed inside and everyone is searched at the door. The crowd is mostly twinky college guys and their female friends, but other types are also present, adding some diversity. Overall, the college-aged guys are friendly and affectionate if you approach them right and aren't a jerk. Monday is marketed as hip-hop night, but that shouldn't deter you. The crowd is about 80 percent white college students and 20 percent Black, Latino, and Asian people who are there to enjoy themselves without causing trouble; everyone mixes together harmoniously. The music inside is very loud, as it should be, but the outdoor patio offers a nice escape from the noise for a normal conversation. Parking can be tough if you don't arrive early, though the club provides a shuttle van to and from a well-lit lot down the street. Cover charges can be overpriced, up to $20 for special events, which often don't seem worth it—like seeing a drag queen who was briefly on a cable show. However, the Cazwell appearance was definitely worth the cover and a blast. Overall, The Interbelt is one of the best nightclubs remaining in northern Ohio.

“Monday madness”

I usually go on Monday nights. It's the best option near where I live. Mondays are the best nights to go, and the drag shows are fantastic.
