“So Fun!”
This past summer in 2014 was my first trip to a gay bar in that city since 1978. I had a wonderful time and want to go back soon. I sang karaoke and had more Bud Light Limes than I probably should have, but I appreciated the friendly people there, particularly one staff member. Orlando might be warm, but the folks at Tremont Lounge were just as welcoming, if not more so. Thanks for a fantastic evening!

“Went uphill for a minute, now downhill fast”
This bar used to be great before the owner passed away. The new manager gave it a necessary renovation. But now it feels like just another drag bar. Ugh. Stay away.

“A Columbus Legend”
This is not your typical gay dance club or fancy martini bar. It offers cheap drinks, friendly service, a jukebox, and a pool table. This formula has worked for years. The owner is a delightful man and the staff always greet you with a smile and a drink. Highly recommended for an authentic dive bar experience. Attitudes are not welcome, but everyone else is!

“Unassuming and delightful...”
The Tremont is a fantastic spot! It's the classic neighborhood bar with no frills, themes, or pretense. It offers the best happy hour in town. The staff and customers are friendly and approachable. It is very small and dark, but that mostly adds to its appeal. My only complaint is the lack of parking.
