Darts fly and pool balls crack as a jukebox plays your picks. Madison Pub is a Capitol Hill sporty gay bar that's been open since 1986, owned by a former Navy submariner. There's never a cover, and regulars range from 30-somethings to 40-somethings who come for cold beer, trivia, and a relaxed crowd.
Free self-serve ice water is available from the hydration station. Sunday means free pool and darts with complimentary U-Shell peanuts. It's open noon to 2am every day, making it an easy stop before or after a night at Q Nightclub .
