“I'm back for Pride 2012 and this time it's for reeeeeel:)”

This time I was amazed by how much it had changed! No one touched me or my friend this year, which I'm happy to report. I was incredibly angry last year, but this year it was absolutely fantastic. I'm giving Wildrose 5 stars for being so much fun. I love the DJs not just because they're attractive but because they're good. Great music, friendly service, and lovely people in general. And last but not least, one of the owners, the petite blonde, is both hot and cool. This bar is the best!

“What type of bar allows their bar fly's to search and 86 their customers?”

After pride this year, a friend and I went to Wild Rose. Without any warning that we were about to be searched, a kid came up to my friend and started grabbing her all over. The kid wore no uniform, badge, or identification. We asked what legal right she had to do that, and she rudely said we were banned, drawing a black X on my friend's hand without permission. When we asked to speak to the manager, the kid and another woman blocked us and told us to leave. It's messed up that a business makes its own rules and ignores the law. I will never go back and advise spending money elsewhere.

“Unwelcoming to guys.”

I went there once for brunch with another male friend and got many unfriendly stares from the women. Every guy I know who has gone has been actively made to feel unwelcome. Ladies, it's time to evolve.

“Always Hot Women Here”

Sometimes the butch older women get jealous and protective, but I've met some very nice friendly women here. And if you're a man, it's okay, just be polite and considerate.

“NOT For Gay Men”

Patrons don't care if you're gay or straight, but if you're a male, you are made to feel very unwelcome. A lesbian friend of mine was visiting from out of town and the bartender refused to serve me. Embarrassed, I had to ask my friend to order the drinks. We had to leave because patrons blocked me from using the restrooms. I understand that many of the patrons remember an era when they were made to feel unwelcome at gay bars and harbor resentment from those days, but they need to bring themselves into the 21st century.
