About
Steam rises from the hot pool and sauna, mixing with the quiet hum of relaxation. Kabuki Springs & Spa, a Japanese-style bathhouse in San Francisco's Pacific Heights, has welcomed guests for over 50 years. The facilities include traditional seated baths, a cold plunge, and steam rooms, with massages available by appointment. Weekdays are gender-separated, with one co-ed day requiring swimsuits. The vibe is upscale but not stuffy, attracting a mixed crowd of 30-somethings to 50-somethings.
Clothing is optional in the gender-separated areas, giving a sense of freedom. Regulars appreciate the lack of sexual pressure – one reviewer notes it's about "male energy" without the expectation. If you go, be quiet; staff have hushed talkative visitors. The spa is known for its Japanese treatments, like scrub services. “relaxing and rewarding”
There's something magical about being able to hang out, enjoy male energy, and not feel sexual pressure. It's a great place to visit, admire, and appreciate men's energy and bodies in a completely different way. They also offer excellent massage and spa scrub services.

“Best Chill Place”
My boyfriend and I go there to unwind and relax. There's good eye candy, but you should look and not touch. Also, make sure to stay quiet. We've talked a bit too much before and were told by staff to be quiet. Nice atmosphere.

“the most relaxing place”
At $25, it's a real bargain, but please look and don't touch, as they step in quickly if anything inappropriate is noticed.
