Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs Area

Hotel · Lake Buena Vista, FL

About

The high-rise Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace sits right at Disney Springs, with 24-hour poolside bars and DJs spinning during Gay Days. This hotel transforms into the circuit party epicenter during One Mighty Weekend, drawing a crowd of muscle boys and hot men to its two pools and hot tub. It's clean and first class, with rooms that can offer views of the Disney fireworks shows.

The pool parties are a highlight, but be warned: during Gay Days, ice runs scarce across Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista. Bring your own cooler or stock up early. Room service slows down too, but that's fine since most guests are barely eating. The hotel issues four wristbands per room, so if you're a local, beg your friend for one.

Located in the Disney Springs area, this hotel puts you steps from shopping, dining, and entertainment. You'll also be near Disney golf courses and parks.

“BEST GAY DAYS HOTEL for HOT BOYS”

Whether it's official or not, I've noticed every year that it's filled with attractive men. The hotel brings in DJs to play daily for their pool parties. If you stay, you get four wristbands, and those of us who live locally hope friends will share one so we can join in dancing and swimming. The pool parties are a major highlight of Gay Days. Many of my local friends book a room a full year ahead. A downside is the hotel can't supply enough ice for all the gay guests. My friends bring blenders and make Miami Vice drinks for everyone, but there's always a shortage. I constantly get calls to bring a cooler of ice from my car to the pool. It's annoying to haul a cooler from the parking lot through the hotel and up to the fifteenth floor. Apparently this is a widespread issue in Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista; every nearby 7/11 and other stores run out of ice. It's true that gay men drink, and when gathered, they drink a lot. Room service is also extremely slow that week, which seems odd since I know many guys barely eat during Gay Days. You'll definitely find the top tier of muscular guys here. It won't disappoint. The hotel is first-class and very clean. Please don't leave it trashed, and we'll continue to be welcomed.

“Host Hotel for One Mighty Weekend”

This hotel works well as the host for One Mighty Weekend, the circuit party side of Gay Disney. It has two good pools and a hot tub, surrounded by the hotel towers and a small lake. It's a great venue for the pool parties. The hotel has been upgraded a few levels since it changed from the Wyndham Palace to an LXR brand a few years ago. It's a mainstream hotel the rest of the year, but far from mainstream during Gay Disney!
