Flamingo Las Vegas
Hotel · Las Vegas, NV
About
On the Strip, Flamingo Las Vegas sits as an old-school favorite with a 15-acre Caribbean water playground and tropical landscaping that outshines many newer resorts. It's a mixed gay-straight hotel with a family-friendly vibe, budget prices, and a cabaret theater hosting music, comedy, and magic acts. The rooms have been renovated, but some bathrooms show their age, and service can be inconsistent based on recent reviews.
The 24-hour casino has hundreds of gaming tables, and you can grab a bite at the attached Margaritaville. If you're on a budget and want a central location with plenty of pool space, this is a solid pick. Just request a room near the elevator—the hallways are long.
Located right on the Strip, Flamingo is steps from other major resorts and attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring Las Vegas.

The staff here is the friendliest of any Vegas hotel! I really enjoyed the fun atmosphere with all the ladies working there.

“old school vegas”
This is where it all began. There's a marker showing where Bugsy Siegel's original property stood. The Flamingo isn't super fancy or the worst. It has its own understated cool vibe and a great location.

“Location ! Location! Location!”
My partner and I stayed for a week at the Flamingo. Although it's not as new and sparkling as some other strip resorts, the location is great. The pools and tropical landscaping are better than many newer resorts. The rooms have been recently renovated and are clean. We especially liked that the Margaritaville venue was connected to the hotel. We loved sitting on the deck and watching people below on the strip. In summary: location, price, and fun!

“Last Time i'll Stay Here !!”
I've stayed here many times before, but this time customer service from check-in to check-out was very slow, like they no longer care. To top it off, someone stole our camera from our car while it was valet parked. After several reports, they called and said they couldn't do anything. I will not be staying here again.

“Central to strip”
Nice property, centrally located among the major hotels on the strip. We've stayed here many times over the years, most recently in June of this year. I have to say the rooms need updating, especially the bathrooms. The fixtures and tubs showed their age. However, the beds were incredibly comfortable. One more thing: if you have trouble walking like I do lately, you might want to request a room near the elevator. Our room felt like it was three city blocks away from the elevator.
