About

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino stands out with its colorful glass towers and real-sand Voodoo Beach, a rare feature on the Strip. It offers over 2,500 all-suite rooms with marble floors and granite countertops. The casino floor is noisy and lively, drawing a crowd from their 20s to 40s. A huge buffet and a dance club that was once popular round out the experience.

The hotel sits about three-quarters of a mile off the Strip, with a shuttle running every 30 minutes. Be prepared for lines at peak times. If you want to be closer to the action, consider the Luxor Hotel & Casino . Still, the Rio's spacious suites and unique amenities make it a solid choice for a gay-friendly Vegas stay.

“Greatest hotel off the strip”

The atmosphere and staff were absolutely outstanding with us. I really enjoyed the comfort and luxury of the rooms. I stayed at the Rio because my late father loved the show with balloons and bands, so I was let down to find it was no longer available. I truly hope they bring it back!

More than a year ago. Good rooms, affordable, but not on the strip.

“a treat”

Everything you'd anticipate from a hotel in Las Vegas — crowds from young adults to people in their 40s, a massive buffet, a loud casino, and shiny multicolored glass towers. It's off the Strip but not far, and the dance club used to be well-liked.

“Nice Rooms but Off the stip”

The room was quite nice with marble floors, granite countertops, a sofa, chair, cocktail table, and a table with chairs. The dressing area was separate from the bathroom. The major downside is that it's about three-quarters of a mile off the strip. They run a shuttle every 30 minutes, but so many people wait for it that you might have to let a couple shuttles pass before you can get on.
