“Beautiful and Elegant Italian Hotel..”
I really loved staying at this hotel. It's gorgeous and classy, making you feel like you're in Italy. This was my second visit, and they are welcoming to LGBTQ guests. I'll return next summer. I adore it—this is the finest hotel I've ever seen. And every room is a suite. Wow.

“The Venetian Resort & Casino”
During my stay in Las Vegas last week for a conference and convention, I was hosted at The Venetian Resort & Casino. Reviewing hotels in Vegas is always challenging because of their size and many amenities, so I focused only on what I experienced. Due to my schedule, I missed much of the resort, including the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, the pool deck (which I tried but found too crowded), and TAO Beach. What I did experience was my suite in the Venetian Tower, several restaurants, the show Rock of Ages, and walks along the Venice streets (which were dry!). I stayed in a Luxury King Suite in the Venetian Tower, a 36-story all-suite property with spacious entry-level suites. I liked the suite but would have preferred the Palazzo Tower. The suite had a Roman tub, king bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, and a sunken living area with HDTVs. Issues: lighting was too dim (perhaps to save energy), the color palette felt rustic and outdated, and the bathroom amenities were disappointing for an all-suite hotel. I heard Palazzo's suites are great, and my tip is to choose the Prestige level there. For dining, I highlight Pinot Brasserie, a classic French bistro by Joachim Splichal, with intimate setting and excellent cuisine.

“Take a trip in a gondola!”
I've stayed here multiple times. The entire hotel is suites only. The lobbies are stunning. The hotel's mall is lovely for walking. Be sure to take the indoor gondola ride—they're better than the outdoor ones. The gondolier will sing only if you ask. To save money, eat at the Fashion Show Mall across the street.
