For nearly 50 years, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre has made extraordinary ballet accessible to the region. Founded in 1969 by a Yugoslavian choreographer and a local arts advocate, the company performs a wide-ranging repertoire from classical ballets to contemporary commissions.
