“Grew up in SA”

Back in the 1980s, I used to hang out here regularly. They had 10 cent drinks on Wednesdays and 25 cent pitchers on Sundays. A performer named Maxi had a regular show that always included a Liza number, and the bartender, who was Cuban, was always there with his infectious laugh. The music was great, and my favorite spot was the corner table with a mermaid or a large-busted woman holding two dim lights like saintly guardians. I hear it's still the place to go in SA, but I haven't been back in decades.

“Great CHILL place!!!”

A roommate's ex-boyfriend introduced me to this place and I've loved it ever since. It's just the right size to handle a crowd, with two pool tables, a dart board, a small dance floor, a great jukebox, and excellent bartenders. Every time I've gone, it's been calm and relaxed, with dim lighting and an eclectic mix of decor. I really hate the bathroom though.

“....Blah”

The only thing I like about this place is that it's one of maybe two gay bars in SA that serve pitchers of beer. They also have a dance floor, though it's kind of small, but at least they have one. There are a couple of pool tables too. I just don't know when it's busy. Anyone know? By the way, it's 21 and up and free entry.

HELLO MY NAME IS JOE. I bartend here as part of my school project at SAC. I interviewed some of our friends at the 2015 and here's what they said: "I like this bar for the staff and the friendly atmosphere. It's quiet so you can have conversations or just be alone. “Its okay....”

This used to be my regular hangout, but that changed when my favorite bartender left for another pub. Now it smells like stale smoke and I've only seen one somewhat attractive bartender. I'm heading to the strip instead.
